Online teaching solution

Project overview

Spring Hill High School first met Dragons Teaching at the Schools & Academies Show at the Birmingham NEC in November last 2021. Spring Hill, which is a specialist SEN school, required a Spanish teacher to support and guide a gifted Spanish speaker and prepare them for Spanish GCSE in Summer 2022.

How Dragons Teaching helped

Dragons Teaching hand-picked a wonderful and experienced Spanish teacher from our core team for this position. The teacher in question was picked for her experience, patience but also awareness and understanding of the Spanish AQA GCSE curriculum. The student has 2.5 hours of teaching online per week during which the teacher engages in role play and interactive teaching strategies. Dragons Teaching’s Teacher Training Lead is now liaising with our teacher to ensure that the student is effectively prepared for the upcoming GCSE examination.

“We have really enjoyed working with Dragons Teaching. Donna, the Spanish teacher, has been fantastic and she has formed a good bond with our student, who is sitting GCSE this Summer. I would more than happy to recommend Dragons Teaching to other schools. ” Gary Edmunds, Headteacher, Spring Hill High School
