Online Teaching – Enrichment
Project Background
St Ignatius School approached Dragons with the requirement to run a Year 9-focused French teaching week at the end of the academic year. The school required 2 hours per day online, with the need for a blended learning approach of role play and asynchronous learning.
How Dragons Teaching Helped
Dragons Teaching have a blended learning programme called FrenchConnect. This is an online course whereby we provide an experienced secondary school French teacher to teach the Year 9 group online. For the first 40 minutes of a 1 hour teaching period, the teacher taught through role play and share screen and then they moved to our online exercises and games area, Bataille du Beret! Year 9 had 10 hours of lessons throughout the week, which was a great success.
