Global Online Assessment in Languages

Level 1 assessments are available in Spanish, Mandarin and Arabic and are based on 10 daily/weekly individual periods of initial study and the content covers the fundamental basics of the chosen language. This online assessment is perfect for absolute beginners or those with a basic exposure and is recommended for students aged 8+ years.

There are 15 online multiple choice questions which will test language recognition.

The Level 1 content is based on the 10 units in Dragons Teaching’s Spanish, Mandarin or Arabic Connect Lite platforms. Schools interested in using the Dragons Teaching materials should contact enquiries@dragonsteaching.com.

For Mandarin specifically

Level 2 GOAL assessments are available in Spanish and Mandarin and based on a recommended 25 individual daily/weekly periods of study. The content covers the basics of language and culture but in a more detail, with a greater focus on grammar, language use and writing. Level 2 can be sat in isolation but it is also the perfect continuation curriculum for those that have completed the Level 1 GOAL assessment. Level 2 is a the right assessment for those with previous knowledge but who need to recall the fundamental basics before progressing to a higher level. The assessments are recommended for students aged 8+ years.

There are 20 online multiple choice questions which will test language recognition and listening.

The Level 2 content is based on Units 1-6 in Dragons Teaching’s Spanish, Mandarin or Arabic Connect Full Course platforms. Schools interested in using the Dragons Teaching materials should contact enquiries@dragonsteaching.com.
