Language Teaching For Schools
Great quality teaching, high pupil engagement and all resources and reporting included. That’s why 750 schools have chosen to work with Dragons Teaching.Talk to us about your school’s needs
There has never been a more pressing need for children to learn languages other than their mother tongue. We work with a wide range of age groups in both state and independent schools to help prepare pupils for a global community.
Our flagship e-learning platform ‘Connect’ breaks down geographical barriers, meaning that schools worldwide can benefit from learning Mandarin, French, Spanish and Arabic with our expert Dragons teachers. All our teachers are trained in Dragons’ teaching methods and pedagogy and use our textbooks and online series. Our books have been written to provide an accessible yet solid foundation for learners of all abilities.
Every school is different and we have a variety of structured approaches available to suit your school’s needs. We can offer language teaching as part of the curriculum to suit your school timetable, or we can provide co-curricular language provision as an after-school club or enrichment programme.

What other schools say about us
Clare Lynas Rupert House Prep School
This year, for the first time, Year 6 had a taste of Spanish through the AmigosConnect programme, which was delivered entirely online. Thank you, Dragons!
David Sheppard Executive Headteacher, Leathersellers’ Federation of Schools
I have had the benefit of seeing Dragons work in two very different schools. In both Dragons had a positive, transformational impact – not just on the pupils studying the language but on the culture of the school. Dragons provided excitement, innovation and aspiration to the curriculum and the young people.
Lex Lang Deputy Head, Caterham Prep School
Connect has been a revelation. We were initially a little uncertain about remote teaching, but recent events have only made the world start to catch on to what they were already offering. I can’t recommend it highly enough.
Answers to common questions
Frequently asked questions
How do you recruit your teachers?
All Dragons’ teachers go through a rigorous vetting and selection process that follows the Department for Education’s Safer Recruitment guidelines. Our teachers are predominately based in the UK and Taiwan and we maintain our own single central register of all their relevant and vetted personal information.
What safeguarding measures do you put in place for your teachers?
The wellbeing and safeguarding of your children are the key priorities for all of us at Dragons Teaching. Every Dragons’ teacher will have an up-to-date DBS check (or equivalent police check) on file with us before starting. In addition, and as mandated by the ‘Keeping Children Safe in Education (2020)’ documentation, full references and overseas checks are conducted on all of our teachers. You access our full safeguarding policy here.
