10 key sections of our Online Learning Platform

The activities range from simple matching games to activities which require reading or listening to passages. Through these activities, students will become familiar with spoken and written Mandarin. The structure of the platform includes a dashboard which shows the student’s progress, awards, and their next recommended activity.

Boat race game: a great way to reinforce Chinese sounds linked to high frequency English words

Pinyin: a learning section which clearly teaches students the difference between the four tones. Again, a great section to come back to future reference

Falling Tones section

Falling tones game: a fun and effective way to test that students have learnt the 4 tones in Mandarin Chinese

Firework game: an additional game to test students’ awareness of the 4 tones in Mandarin Chinese

Stroke Order section

Writing Chinese characters: this clever section enables students to trace characters and learn the correct stroke order

Quiz time: this appears at the end of each chapter and tests students overall understanding of the chapter contents
