Services at Primary Schools

Teaching on Curriculum

Our flagship programme is aimed at Years 3-6. We provide engaging and experienced Chinese teachers to primary and preparatory school students who follow our Primary School Chinese curriculum. The course gives Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 a rigorous foundation in Mandarin Chinese.

After school Chinese

Our ‘Chinese Dragons Club’ provides children with an essential exposure to Chinese culture through engaging activities and the use of Mandarin Chinese language. Aimed at 6-9 year olds, children learn about China through fun activities, art, craft and play. No previous language experience is required.

Online Chinese programmes

DragonsConnect is an exciting short course of 3-15 weeks, ideal for 11+ and 13+ post exam enrichment. Students gain solid exposure to the fundamentals of Chinese language and culture. Ideal for Year 6 and Year 8!

The enrichment course is perfect preparation for our  full year curriculum programme.

With our help your school can introduce Chinese with full confidence!  Our role is to provide you with excellent Chinese teachers and resources, tailored to your unique needs.

Dragons’ schools enjoy excellent success at GCSE and all our teachers are trained to teach effectively at secondary school level.

After-school GCSE classes

These classes have been set up to meet the growing demand from schools who are presently unable to fit Chinese into the curriculum.

Students will typically have 2 hours teaching per week, with the same homework commitments as a normal curriculum class. Dragons offers flexibility in teaching times.

Online Chinese programmes

Our flexible short introduction course  engages and inspires students to learn Mandarin through our hybrid learning model over 3-15 weeks.

DragonsConnect is also now offering a full year curriculum course, ideal for Years 7-11.  Students will study together online in small groups, aligned with the Mandarin Chinese GCSE curriculum.
